[NEWS] 2NE1 1st full length album “To Anyone” garners over 8 million views on Youtube

According to Youtube, the MV to the first title song ‘Can’t Nobody’ off the album released on 11th September has garnered over 2,108,486 views as off 5.45pm on 17th September. For the 2nd and 3rd title songs ‘Go Away’ and ‘Clap Your Hands’ have each garnered 2,576,139 and 2,631,329 views.

The views garnered by all 3 MVs is 7,315,954. Other than the girls’ new songs, other MVs like ‘Try To Follow Me’, ‘You & I’, ‘I Don’t Care’ and ‘Fire’ have garnered over 250K, 120K, 50K and 30K views on the girls’ official Youtube channel.

Other than that, the girls have also sold over 100K copies of their album in just 5 days into its release

BEAST will be revealing a ballad song on 17th,comeback set on late September

[OSEN=최나영 기자] 그룹 비스트가 9월 말 컴백을 확정했다.

비스트의 소속사 큐브 엔터테인먼트 측은 “비스트의 세 번째 미니 앨범 발매 및 컴백은 9월말로 확정됐다”라고 밝혔다.

비 스트의 세 번째 미니 앨범 수록곡인 ‘주먹을 꽉 쥐고’를 17일 오전 10시에 온라인 음원사이트에서 선공개한다. 이 곡은 히트메이커 안영민이 비스트를 위해 선사한 R&B 넘버이다. 정통 발라드의 서사적인 멜로디 전개를 따르면서도 신스와 미디계열의 리듬 사운드가 절묘하게 어우러진다.

비스트는 지난 앨범 활동 당시, 발라드 곡 ‘EASY’를 sincere버전으로 새롭게 편곡해 선보여 보컬 실력파임을 입증한 바 있다.

BEAST’s management, Cube Entertainment, stated, “The third mini album for BEAST and comeback has been decided for late September.”

A song in the third mini album for BEAST, ‘Clenching a Fist Tight’ will be revealed on an online music site at 10AM KST on the 17th. This song will be an R&B track from the hit song maker Ahn Youngmin. It will be a new sound that harmonizes the traditional ballad with a new melody.

BEAST had showed off their skills earlier by releasing a sincere version of the song ‘Easy’ during their past album promotions.

[News] SHINee enters the Oricon Charts

 

Popular  SM Entertainment group Girls’ Generation / SNSD or Shoujo Jidai is  currently concentrating on the Japanese market but today another SM  Entertainment group is taking the spotlight in Japan.
 
On  September 15th, the boys of SHINee released a Japanese version of their  hit ‘Lucifer’ Album and today the Oricon Daily Chart revealed that  SHINee placed 8th. There’s no word on when SHINee plans to make their  official debut in Japan but with results like this, I wouldn’t be  surprised if they plan on debuting in the near future.

[NEWS] 2NE1 has sold 100,000 copies of ‘To Anyone’ in just 5 days

Girl group 2NE1 has sold 100,000 copies of their first full album in just 5 days.

On the 14th, YG Entertainment stated, “After confirming with Mnet Media, the distributors of 2NE1’s first full album, they stated today (14th) that we have sold over 100,000 copies. If this trend continues, we will have sold well over 150,000 copies by the end of the month.”

In regards to the Hanteo Charts reporting that 2NE1’s album has sold only 21000 copies as of the 12th, YG responded, “We have sold a lot of albums through our own online store ‘YG e-Shop‘. In regards to the difference in methods of counting sale aggregates, we did nothing more or less than to fully state our distributor’s total aggregate of album sales.”

While Hanteo charts collect 85% of their information from nationwide music sales and 15% from accumulations in their information database and national sale estimations, entertainment companies sum up their album sales from directly checking the number of shipments and calling up music stores.

As of the 14th at 3:20PM, all three of 2NE1’s title tracks are ranked in the top 3 on the popular music portal site, Melon.
